Today one of my PPP post got rejected. In my moment of excitement for bagging an $8.50 deal, I forgot to insert an interim post between my last paid post. Stupid.

Come to think of it, I did not even thought of an interim post. The excitement of getting anything more than $5 is already overwhelming for a newbie. Yeah, sneer and look down all you want, that is what happened.

It was sad to lose that post not because it’s one of the better paying ones, I personally do like it. Damn, effort has been poured into it… my artistic touch. …. priceless. So, I’m not putting that post down though they are not going to pay me. I’ve decided it stays!

Well, good lesson to be learned. Interim post, Interim post and interim post.

I’m tempted to immediately write another one to redeem myself, but then, those $5 for 300 words offer is as seductive as me romping around in a bikini on the beach. Trust me, you don’t want to see that. Maybe I’ll just catch up on my beauty sleep and live to fight another day.

woo!! New Blog! Congrats!! though I knew this a sooner or later affair!

I too kena once on this filler post thingy, but don’t they let you edit? You can do a new post, publish it, then copy and paste the PPP post after that new post then re-submit again. That’s what I did anyway and it was approved after that.

I haven’t tried this but I think if in wordpress, it could be easier. Just time-stamp your filler post to an earlier time than the PPP post and I think it should appear before the PPP post. Got to test this out one day. Write one post first, Publish it, Write another post, time stamp it to an earlier time and publish that post. See where the post will appear.

Well, that’s what I thought too. I rectified it and did a filler post and resubmit. I went and submit a ticket to ask whether I can do that… they replied no. They say I should not back date anything and insert an interim post.

But then hor, I pandai pandai already resubmit the thing before I got the reply ticket. Now I don’t know what’s going to happen. You know lar, for blogs like mine every little post counts. I’m also damn fussy when selecting my ads. hahaha Another thing, I do worry if I put too many PPP posts, I sound not sincere. Really hard choice. Who says paid posts are easy?

Teach you hor, treat those mails like rubber balls. Just insert one interim inside, and hit the submission button again. Kau tim jor. If come back, see what they say, do again and hit again. Until you get it. I have never delete a single posts though I had written 1007 posts. LOL. Even my Christian-Journey blog kena terrorisms and I lost the old posts? I just retype a new one, submit again.

Aiyah, should have asked you and Ah Pek earlier. The post is already officially rejected. Still not gotten over the mere 8.50… lol

    1007 posts? Incredible!

    hi helen,

i am selective with my paidposts as well… this is what others call ‘yim chin sang’.

another note for you, in case you haven’t heard, a tag is not considered a filler post. i just got to know this from another mummy blogger. i did that before, and it was okay. i guess that was before PPP decided on this.

Really? I sometimes do doubt those PPP checkers will take time to check minor things like that. I’ve seen people writing full pages of paid posts with no interim post. Guess I’m just unlucky… lol
