Snoskred - I'm glad you took the time to drop by and clarify on the comment thingy. I agree people dropping unrelated comments is a definite no no... but then the 2,500 hits from teenage boys are beginning to sound enticing to me...

No, no just joking. *bad girl, no evil thots..*

On a serious note, I'm really glad you took the time to offer your thoughts. Trust me, the pleasure is all mine.

Take care.

PS: I still don't like your banner though... :-)

Seriously, this is the best review of my blog I have ever read - fair and with constructive criticism. Well done! ;)

What I mean about editing the comments is - sometimes people comment with a word which gets a blog entirely the *wrong* kind of traffic. My comments are do follow - they end up on search engines. I could type in combinations of three little words here, and you would have all kinds of teenage boys turning up at your site looking for content you're not publishing. I'm going to use the number 1 in place of the letter i and the letter 3 in the place of the letter e and the number 0 in the place of the letter 0 for the words i am about to type.

If I hadn't put the numbers in and your comments were do follow? Within 24 hours your site would have about 2,500 hits from teenage boys. I know this because I accidentally wrote a post which included those words once. And eew, it was the worst feeling to have that kind of traffic.

So I do reserve the right to edit comments if they are inappropriate, contain swear words or if they contain words that are getting me traffic for the wrong reasons. A word typed in today might have no apparent significance but later on something could happen which gets people searching for that term.

As far as to what extent I edit them? It's never happened yet. I have good commentors. ;)

I might clarify that section of my policies. Just to make sure everyone knows where they stand.

I chose the colors because they matched my header graphic - and because green and blue are good colors psychologically.

Thanks Helen, I truly enjoyed this objective look at my site.
Cheers,
Snoskred
