I am really mad. You cannot blame me when every 2 minutes there’ll be an ‘explosion’ going on opposite my house. Yeah, those kids from the opposite house are playing with firecrackers again. I know today is Deepavali. But then what the heck has it got to do with them? They’re Chinese for Christ sake.

What baffles me even further are those stupid parents encouraging them on. What right thinking parents would allow their children to play with firecrackers? Those little pests are no older than 8. But then they sure hell made more noise than an eighteen year old. Another hour of those noisy crackers my dalmatian will die in fright. Thankfully my poodle fared better.

I am just one phone call away from calling the cops.

Same here, I have this neigbour’s son who always complain to his family about my dog barking at him whenever he pass by my gate. Guess what, everybody walks past - he RUNS! Of course my dog will bark at him! This is basic dogs instinct, he’s just doing his job to protect his home and his owner. Not least to mention, it’s even more natural instinct for a dog to chase you when you run. Common sense!

I am very very protective of my dogs… for my temper I would have brought my dogs right out. Make them run back to their own homes and play firecrackers in their parents bedroom.

Ed - lol Hey, you are staying in Singapore right? How many dogs are you keeping? I heard it is hard keeping dogs in Spore. I don’t know where you are staying, but my uncle who is staying in those flats had to take his dog down to do business everyday. COme rain or shine. lol Summore his little doggie had grown into such a big thing. No place for the family too.. the dog is so big. lol

I have two dogs now, previously three. A Silky, a Mongrel - which is supposedly a cross corgi based on the white markings and white snow paws. A third one, is a Sheltie which passed away in 2005. All are abandoned dogs…

It’s tough keeping dogs here because I stay in a flat too. I have to bring them down every night too, just gotta be conscious enough to bring along plastic bags to clear their poo. Sometimes, I forget still… hahaha!

Singapore is not a place for animals, seriously.

Ed - Taking 3 dogs for walks are tough business. It takes plenty of commitment. :-) You are not lacking there. Don’t think dogs in Msia had it better. The garmen is not exactly crazy about dogs because of their faith.

THe worst part is, dogs wearing license are still shot on sight by those Municipal people. They dun care. Even some dogs who are let loose inside their house compound are shot by over zealous dog-shooters. I heard some dog-shooters are paid on per dog basis. That is why they are trigger happy.

Talking about your Corgi cross.. it must look adorable with short legs. As for the Silky, you’ll have to brush its long hair everyday liao.. lol Plenty of work but still got time to blog..? lol
