langkawi07-077.jpgHelen is currently living with her family and 4 canines in her nice house in Ipoh, Malaysia. Blogging has suddenly made a big comeback in her life after laying it off and almost given it up early 2007.

She is a new Christian and no, despite attending a charismatic church, she does not speak in tongues. She is occasionally accused of blogging in tongues though about the mystery of the blogging universe.

Goes to the gym 5 to 6 times a week and still has nothing to show for. Convinced though one day she’ll once again fit into a size 8 and transform herself into Jessica Alba. What? Alba is not size 8? Well, nobody’s perfect.

**Disclaimer** : In good faith, Helen would like to inform readers that profile picture is the best one she has. She does not exactly resemble the picture a whole lot in person.

Additional info: Never love going to school and painfully shy, she immediately embraced the workforce after her secondary education. Spent 2 years working for a local gold exchange company and married her childhood sweetheart. Had a son the following year. Left her job in the gold exchange company later and joined her hubby in Kuala Lumpur.

Worked for a small hotel as a receptionist for another 2 years and probably seen more than she ever did in the short 2 years in the hotel line. For better of worse, it was an eye opening experience for a small town person working in the big city. Helen returned back to her hometown after her marriage to her husband ended up in a divorce.

Stayed for 2 years in New York with her elder sister who had been residing in the United States for the past 10 years. After returning home, an older and wiser Helen realized the only way to combat her shyness and lack of self confidence is to equip herself with better education. It was then she pursued Diploma in Business Studies part-time while working for a medical establishment in the Administration Department.

In the mid 90s when the computer boom was picking up in the country, Helen decided to pursue computer studies. She continued her administrative post in the medical centre for another 9 years. Living in complatency, it took every ounce of determination for her to leave her comfort zone and look for a change. Mustering enough courage to leave her 9 year job, she joined a legal firm as an office manager. Her stint in the legal firm was more a personal fulfillment than a financial one.

Helen met her current husband, a software developer in 1999 and they married 4 years later in 2003. On the personal front, Helen is just thankful to have met such a kind and thoughtful man who not only brought joy to her life, he even introduced her to Christ.

Feeling there is nothing more to prove and yearning for a break from the hustle and bustle of working life, Helen decided to leave her job and embarked on a new front as a fulltime housewife. It was through fateful intervention Helen found blogging and ended up being a part-time housewife. Blogging took up the other half.
